Microsoft acquires Mobile Search Company

Microsoft buys MotionBridge,
which provides search services for mobile phones. It was announced
yesterday at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona. MotionBridge is a
company based in Paris which apparently is worldwide leader in mobile
search technology. Unfortunately, I still don’t use at all the Internet
on my mobile, its too expensive and my screen too small.

“The emerging field of mobile search is strategically important and
crucial to delivering on our vision for Windows Live of providing a
seamless and rich information experience for individuals and businesses
across devices,” said Christopher Payne, corporate vice president of
MSN Search at Microsoft.
